Enjolras + Grantaire - Matched

Enjolras and Grantaire engaging in some Bâton français. Consider this from the "Va attraper une étoile filante ' ([link]) story...they practice some Savate in the last chapter, but at other times I figure they'd do Bâton français. Hugo mentions singlesticks in connection with both characters...at least Enjolras performs a singlestick move at the barricade, and it is mentioned in his introduction as being among the blazon of things Grantaire does . I need to check the original French, as I'm wondering if Hugo actually wrote Bâton français or Canne de Combat. At any rate, Enjolras fights like a demon, so I'm sure he knew some of the French martial arts styles that were developed at the time.

This moved on majestically to the "fail point". I won't even say what I thought it looked like by the end. Obviously, I'm still learning my way around digital colouring.
