Just a note re all the silliness that's gone on in my DevArt Gallery. This is not a plea for reassurance - I'm a grown woman, I can take constructive criticism, and I haven't managed to kill all my artistic sensibilities...although I will if I keep going in the direction I'm heading in. I'm going to try to curb the tendency to slap ideas on paper and put them up, and will be cleaning out the Gallery - at the very least moving some of the mediocre crap to scraps.

I hope this doesn't sounds as if I take myself too srsly - I've got a pretty decent grip of what level my capabilities are at But just because one is a scribbler of very modest ability doesn't mean all integrity should go out the window.

ETA: I've started moving the trash to scraps. If you want to find something, it's there. I'm reluctant to move some of the fanfic art, as I don't want to imply in any way that the stories they're based on aren't brilliant (only that my rendering of them is rubbish). I'm also undecided on works that have more than a couple of faves, even if I'm not at all keen on them. I'll decide later.
